We stayed in Tezpur at Hotel THE FERN RESIDENCY.

One of the best hotels. Excellent Hotel, wonderful & smiling staff, great ambiance and wonderful memories. My little daughter became a pet for all their staff who loved her a lot.

We visited a DURGA MATA Mother Goddesses temple near Deopani. We had to leave the highway and drive inside the village road to reach this temple. 

This temple is maintained by Deopani Tea Estate Management and it was well maintained & well kept. We just reached in time for the evening last prayer. 

We prayed and offered and thanked the Mother Goddess for bringing us safely till here and sought her protection for the journey ahead. 

Photography inside temple premise was strictly prohibited. 

It was 9 PM when we finally reached KOHIMA. We found a Hotel Blue Bayou and it was exactly opposite the Kohima War Vetrans Cemetery. 

Starting Odometer Reading at Tezpur on 29th December 2016 at 9.30 AM was 63198 KM.

Closing Odometer Reading at Kohima on 29th December 2016 night at 10.00 PM was 63465 KM.

Total distance traveled from the hotel from Tezpur to the hotel in Kohima was 267 KMs.
